Hundreds of thousands of registered representatives may be qualified to help you with your financial matters. One thing is true for all registered representatives ~ they are licensed through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FNRA) and are registered with an FNRA licensed broker-dealer. A person becomes a representative by passing securities licensing examinations. Most representatives also receive practical training about products and are required to take part in continuing education. Of course, every representative is under the scrutiny of various governmental and industry regulatory organizations.
